We are a multi-denominational group of Christian men from various churches who meet on Wednesday mornings in a discipleship study and who have been praying for a revival.
2 Chronicles 7:14 states: "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land."
We met at the Uptown Market, 220 Maxwell Ave, Greenwood SC on Sunday, July 14, 2024 for a prayer event at 7:14 pm. We were more than 200 strong and prayed for revival in our city, our state and our nation.
The Praying City of Greenwood is hosting Worship On Main each Friday, through Sept. 27, 2024 from 7 to 8 p.m.
Residents are invited to join for prayer and to praise and worship the Lord. Other praise and worship teams, musicians, psalmists and choirs are also invited to come and share their gifts and selections.
If any ministry would like to participate, contact Carolyn Phelps at 864-320-9416.

Did you feel it tonight? God showed up! I am really bad when it comes to estimating crowd sizes... I'm certain though that we were more than 200. I'm also certain that when we concluded at 8pm that we were not finished.
Are you asking what's next? I am. We have lit a spark in Greenwood and we need to fan it into something bigger, something God-sized. We only have 68 people on this Facebook Page. We probably had triple that attend our Prayer Vigil / Revival tonight and don't have a way to connect with them directly. So, I'm asking for your help in reaching out to the Pastors, ministers and folks who attended or who want to know "what's next" and let's find another time and place and let's invite even more and let's Do It Again! How does Sunday, September 8th sound at 7:14 pm again? That is smack dab between Labor Day and 9-11.
This has been cross-posted from our Revival 7:14 Facebook page and we are ask folks to come to (https://www.facebook.com/groups/revival714) and join so that all may be able to discuss and see just how big our God can be!

Begin with a period of silence, acknowledging the presence of the Holy Spirit. You may want to repeat phrases such as “Lord, thank you for inviting me to be here. Help me to hear what you want me to know about you and what your purposes are for me.” Calm your spirit and center on God's love for all people.
“Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14
You may find some of the following scripture passages helpful in your prayer time:

Acts 11:25-26 - Then Barnabas went to Tarsus to find Saul. When he found him, he brought him up to Antioch. Then for a whole year they met together with the Church and taught a large crowd. It was in Antioch that the disciples were first given the name of “Christians”.
